The Düsseldorf artist Li Starkloff was born in 1943. Very young, she showed great interest in painting. She took part in seminars in various cities where she lived in the past (in Mönchengladbach / Rheydt, Traunstein, Munich, London and Düsseldorf). Since 1971 she is married to Axel Starkloff and has 4 children with him. Her family came always first, that is why she restarted to paint again after her children left home. For over 10 years now she swings again the brushes and performs magic acrylic oil and oil paintings.

At the Hotel Imperial, all rooms are named after world cities. The artist has already made over 58 collages to the appropriate rooms, which are very popular to our guests. Li Starkloff also takes part in art seminars. Meanwhile, she has performed numerous vernissages.
